EWC’s Electrical Hazards Awareness course has been certified by OSHA and CAL OSHA and cultivated from years of practical, professional work in the field. It aims to raise awareness of the potential hazards of working in and around electrical hazards in the workplace.
 
This course is designed to show you how serious electrical energy is, the types of injuries you might be exposed to, and the ongoing need to be aware of your working area at all times. Electrical energy can cause minor to major injuries, sometimes causing death.
 
You’ll also gain an understanding of the requirements we must follow when we are near high-voltage lines and when working with tools and machinery that require electricity to power them. You’ll also learn how to protect yourself from being shocked or electrocuted.
