EWC’s Excavation Awareness course has been certified by OSHA, CAL OSHA, and cultivated from years of practical, professional work in the field. This course aims to raise awareness of the potential hazards of working in and around excavations. Throughout this course, you’ll learn the following: Module 1: Excavations & Trenches - what are they, and how do they differ? Module 2: Soil Classifications - how to identify different types of soil and how that impacts your working conditions Module 3: Protective Systems - Identify various types of protective systems and how to implement them to protect you from cave-ins.
